Forward missed calls: Verizon

For Verizon wireless lines. Type on the keypad, then press Call.

Your Velocity number is in your setup email. Below, it is shown as [YOUR VELOCITY NUMBER]: type your 10-digit number with no spaces or dashes. Velocity is an AI voice assistant and answers the calls you forward to it.

Forward missed calls

1. For calls you do not answer or cannot take: dial *71[YOUR VELOCITY NUMBER] and press Call. Wait for the confirmation tone or message.
2. If your plan has a separate busy setting, dial *90[YOUR VELOCITY NUMBER] too.

Turn it off

Dial *73 to turn forwarding off.

Good to know

• Do not use *72: it forwards every call, even ones you could answer.
• Verizon business lines and office systems can have their own settings: use the Other page.
• If a code does not work, ask Verizon for 'no-answer and busy call forwarding' or set it in your Verizon account. (Verify before publishing: codes differ for some plans.)

Check that it works

1. Use a different phone to call your business number.
2. Do not answer. Let it ring until Velocity picks up and says it is an AI.
3. Open your setup page and tap Check forwarding. It turns green when we have seen the test call arrive.
